There are no subscriptions, no maintenance or annual service costs.
However, when new Major versions are released you have the option of paying an Update fee to obtain that.

3D-Tool prices are one-time payments with no annual maintenance costs.
We regularly release updates for the 3D-Tool CAD viewer and converter. These are always available for download on our website. All service updates within the major version number you purchased are free. Once a new major version is released, service updates will only be provided for this new major version and not for earlier major versions. The moderate update costs listed above will then apply for an update of an older license. However, you are not obligated to purchase updates.
To keep your cost per license as low as possible, floating licensing is not a functionality supported by 3D-Tool. If you need 3D-Tool on several computers, we will be happy to make you an offer; however there is no established quantity discount scale. Officially, volume licensing discounts start at a quantity of 50 licenses on a single purchase.
